Around 300 dogs a day scream and wail on the top of their voice in terror and pain, inside an illegal dog meat slaughterhouse in Changchun, China.
Dogs arrive each day in over crammed iron cages, stacked on transport trucks that have travelled hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles across China. Many of the dogs are in bad shape or even dead. They have not eaten or drunk or stretched their limbs for days. Many suffer terrible injuries. Puppies are also born during transport and the mother dogs can do nothing to help their puppies, who often fall thru the iron bars of the cages.
